Now entering our 3rd year, the Brotherhood of St. Andrew at
St. John's
enjoys a stable membership of men committed to regular Bible study,
prayer,
and
service, especially among men and youth. Our meetings are held on
the 2nd
and 4th Saturdays
of every month from 7:15 am to 8:30 am, late enough to sleep in
a little, but early enough to get home
in time for soccer or other Saturday obligations. We meet in Seminar
Room B, just down the hall from the Sanctuary. Each meeting consists
of a bagel and not just a little coffee, followed by a reading of
the next day's Gospel and a hearty discussion of relevance to the
issues facing men and familites. If any of the following statements
apply to you, please join us next time:
- I feel like I need a Bible study group,
but haven't found one to suit my needs
- I travel during the week or have unpredictable
evening meetings, but can't devote a Saturday or Sunday
because of family obligations
