  • The Meditations Library. While most visitors have come to this point because meditation has become a stable part of their Christian committment, we hope that many will visit who are new to the meditation experience. It is important to know that meditation and traditional prayer, at least in the context used here, differ fundamently. While there are many types of meditation, a unifying characteristic is that meditation is listening, not talking to God. Whereas, in prayer, we praise God, thank him for our many blessings, offer petitions for our well-being or the well-being of others, meditation is a time to allow God to speak to you. While not all submissions will be published, you are eagerly encouraged to expand your Christian journey horizons by engaging in the rewarding experience of allowing God to create a meditation. In order to assure consistency, it is important that meditations follow a standardized structure, although some flexibility is permitted to allow God to lead us all to new heights of Christian experience.
