Kevin Cook
Kevin Cook is an Adjunct Faculty member and founder
of the Six Sigma Engineer Group, an outsourced Black Belt resource to
the healthcare industry. The Six Sigma Engineer Group specializes in
innovation and execution of rapid cycle methods, high impact quality
improvement projects, throughput and capacity optimization, and cost
recovery techniques in medical centers, managed care organizations,
and integrated health systems. In his fulltime role, he serves as an
Assistant Administratort at River Region Health System, a leading Triad
facility. Previously, Kevin served as a team leader and project manager
for the Premier Innovation Institute, and Health Care Concepts, a Health
Care Quality Improvement Think Tank based in Austin, Texas. He also
participated as a core team member on the Institute for Health Care
Improvement's Idealized Design of Medication Systems Project. Kevin
specializes in aiding organizations develop and implement Six Sigma
project management methodology, realize culture change, developing a
process orientation among managers, and accomplish strategic quality
improvement initiatives. Kevin earned a M.S.B.A. from Boston University
and pursues continuing education opportunities through his work.
